Fly Digital Combat Simulator for Free

Digital Combat Simulator is a complex flight simulator.  It can be used completely free. However, you will be somewhat limited in terms of a free account. You can fly 2 free planes for as long as you like. You can also fly any other plane for free for two weeks, then change to another free plane.  The game tries to be realistic and you probably cannot master a plane in two weeks. But have no fear, after six months you can use that free plane again for another two weeks. There are many planes to try. You will not get bored. 

You can play in single-player or multiple-player modes.

My best landing happened a few days ago. Maybe it wasn't quite perfect but it was very close. 11/18/2024  I've done lots and lots of landing practice. I have lots and lots more to do.   I had four good landings today but none as good as this one.

Dogfighting in a Mustang using DCS

I have not tried to dogfight a lot, I made the mistake of going up against a P51D in this one and it ate me alive. But I did learn a lot and it helped me recall the days when I knew how to dogfight in a game called FightAce 2.0 or maybe it was 3.0. I'm not sure. It was almost 20 years ago.
